Welcome!

My name is Dr. Hilary Cobb and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Idaho and my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Boise State University. After working for a decade in the field, I received my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2023.

​I currently work as a full-time assistant professor of social work at King University in Bristol, Tennessee, and enjoy educating masters-level students in King's Online MSW program. I also adjunct teach classes at my local community college, the College of Western Idaho, and have a heart for students overcoming great odds to receive an education. My dissertation and research centers around online education, social connectedness, and community college students.

Over the past several years, I have created several resources to support students including YouTube videos and APA formatting guides. Please use the educational resources tab to find more tools or follow my YouTube channel to find resources that educators or students can use to improve their writing practice. 

In addition to teaching and supporting students, I complete immigration evaluations, training and consultations, and see counseling clients through telehealth through my LLC, Still Waters Behavioral Health. You can use the services tab to learn more about the services I provide.
